Prizes

There will be two prizes awarded:

First prize

1. £5000 cash
2. Support programme from Dyson’s RDD department
3. Trip to Dyson’s research facility in the UK. (In the event that a trip to Dyson UK was given as a national prize, the winner may receive £500 as an alternative).
4. £1000 cash prize to the winner’s lecturer, teacher or University department
5. Inclusion in Dyson’s/James Dyson Foundation’s publicity campaign including, but not limited to, placement on the James Dyson Award website.

Commended prize:

1. £2000 cash
2. £500 cash prize to the entrant’s lecturer, teacher or department
3. Inclusion in Dyson’s/James Dyson Foundation’s publicity campaign including, but not limited to, placement on the James Dyson Award website.
