The Education Box is a free loan service for Design and Technology teachers and lecturers to use in UK schools, colleges or universities. It includes:

  • 1 Dyson DC22 Telescope Wrap Animal vacuum cleaner (including hose, telescopic wand, and accessories)
  • 7 Dyson Turbine Head floor tools
  • 1 Mini Flat Out floor tool
  • 8 Torx screwdrivers

Plus, for your school to keep:

  • Complimentary copy of James Dyson's autobiography
  • Design engineering posters
  • PDF Teacher Pack, containing a detailed case study on the development of DC22
  • Dyson Design Process DVD Student CD-Rom (featuring Dyson DC11)

How to order the Education Box

Please choose a Monday to receive the box on. As Education Boxes are allocated on a first come first served basis, make sure you let us know an alternative date for delivery too.

The box will be available, free of charge, for 4 weeks.

To use the box, you need to download the Teachers Pack.

We will post you an information pack before delivering the Education Box, and will confirm your booking, delivery and collection dates by email. Please check these and tell us if any of the dates will not be possible.

If you do not receive the box by the middle of the agreed week, or if the box is not collected at the agreed time, please contact us immediately.

At the end of your agreed loan, please ensure the box is ready for collection at reception.

We are continually updating our resources and would love to hear how you used the box and ideas for improvement. Please take a minute to give us your feedback once you have used the box.
